Goods Moving IN to Business (Increase of Asset - Debit)
- Purchases (Goods bought from Suppliers)
- Sales Returns/Return Inwards (Goods returned by Customers)
- Sales (Goods sold to Customers)
- Purchase Returns/Return Outwards (Goods returned to Suppliers)
Therefore, the Four Ledger Accounts
- Purchases (Increase of Asset - Debit)
- Purchase Returns/Return Outwards (Decrease of Asset - Credit)
- Sales (Decrease of Asset - Credit)
- Sales Returns/Return Inwards (Increase of Asset - Debit)
